Okay, so this is the best hat ever! Also, the first I've ever made. I just knit a band in stockinette stitch with a knitted trim. Then I tightened the stitches around the top, then I sewed the back. Add a pompom on the top and presto! You're very own stylish and simple winter toque. I used the same yarn as one of the monsters on the couch I made a while back.
